Hand Washing Effectiveness
Germ Theory Demonstration
Compare different hand washing methods to see their effectiveness at removing germs. Observe how washing duration and soap use affect germ removal.

Germ Theory Principles
1. Soap Mechanism:
Soap molecules have hydrophobic tails that break apart germ membranes and hydrophilic heads that wash them away.
2. Washing Duration:
20 seconds allows time for soap to break down germs and mechanical action to remove them.
3. Water Alone:
Water can remove some germs but is much less effective without soap's chemical action.
